Grace and Peace to you all!
Summer at Alpine has officially come to an end. I want to thank you all for being willing and open to trying new things and seeing how the Holy Spirit is at work with and through us. Our summer services went wonderful and it was a joy to gather together as one each Sunday. Our fellowship time lasted longer and allowed us to deepen our relationship with one another. Now that we are in September, we are returning to two services. Our services will be at 8AM and 10AM.
We have a great need for volunteers during both of our worships. If you are interested in being an usher, reader, lay assistant, or running the sound system, please reach out to Lynn.
Confirmation begins this month on the 20th. We have some wonderful and engaging things planned for this year and are looking forward to how our youth will grow!
As I prepare for maternity leave please know that I will be transparent about what leadership will look like during my time away. When I have a finalized schedule, I will share it with you all.
Our partnership with the YMCA is going wonderfully. I am overjoyed to see children in our space and getting use out of the gym. This is a great way for us to connect with our community members and serve a need.
Because of this partnership, we were able to use Camp Winnebago for our council retreat as well as worship! Thank you to the YMCA for providing this wonderful space. Thank you to our council for spending the day together in intentional conversation. Thank you to everyone that came out and brought a dish to pass and participated in worship! It was, overall, a wonderful day.
I am looking forward to how God will continue to lead us and call us. I am grateful for this community and its dedication to following the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God!
