The Alive in Him Praise Band plays at the Contemporary
Service on Sunday's and at local events.  They inspire worship
with their uplifting, modern music.  Do you play an
instrument?
The Altar Guild is responsible for the sanctuary.  They prepare
for the upcoming services and events.
Are you a techie?  Do you know your way around sound
systems or video devices?  Perhaps your calling is in the
technical aspect of worship.
At Alpine Lutheran Church there are two handbell choirs and a
handbell duet.  The “Alpine Handbell Choir” has been
organized since 1985, when handbells were given as a
memorial to the church.  We play two Sundays a month during
the fall-winter-spring seasons.  In addition, we play at special
services, such as Easter and Christmas.  From time to time we
are asked to play at other churches.  The “Beginning Bell
Choir” was organized just two years ago.  We have just begun
to play at worship services.  The “Handbell Duet” plays two or
three times a month at worship services, as well as three or
four times a year at nursing homes or other churches.   For
more information contact Ruth Moen.
The Chancel Choir sings a wide variety of worship songs.
They perform at Sunday services and other events in the area.
Beautiful harmonies and opportunities for solos make this
group of men and women a delight to sing with and listen to.
Talk to one of them if you would like to join.
Praising our Lord with dancing.  A fun and inspiring way to
worship.  They perform at Sunday services and other local
events.  If you would like to learn choreography to modern
music and share your gift with others, this might be your
ministry.
With a little training, you could help with one of the most
important ministries.  Being involved with the distribution of
communion during the service and to people who can not
attend, is such an important ministry.  If you feel the need to
serve, please contact us.
Can you act?  The Drama Ministry acts out short plays with
messages that coincide with the Sunday service.  If your a
thespian, or would like to be, let us know!
Participate in the service!  Would you like to greet and
welcome people as they enter our church?  Perhaps you would
like to take the elements of communion up to the altar.  Maybe
you would like to offer your help as a lector.
Are you good at communicating with the younger Christian?
Along with the Sunday sermon, a children's sermon is offered.
If you can take the readings for the day and break it down
into an understandable talk for kids, this may be your calling.
Ushers provide much of the organization during the service.
Handing out worship guides, helping with the offertory and
choreographing the communion distribution.  If you would like
to help, contact us.
The puppet ministry offers a chance to work with puppets in
the Christian setting.  Puppet shows with a Christian message
are a fun way to teach God's word.
Do you love to sing?  Do you love to get others excited?  Do
you like to perform in front of others?  This is the ministry for
you!  Worship leaders lead the singing with the praise band.
They motivate people at the contemporary service to sing out
their praise, clap their hands and move there feet.  If you are
filled with God's love and just need to share it, let us know.
